Mission
Valdori exists to prove that real craftsmanship doesn't require a luxury markup. Every frame is built to the highest quality materials and processes available. By eliminating everything that does not matter and focusing on quality, we can provide superior eyewear at affordable prices.
Materials
Every Valdori frame is cut from Mazzucchelli acetate, the legendary Italian mill that supplies the world's best eyewear frame materials since 1849.
Each frame is fitted with Carl Zeiss CR39 Polarized lenses out of Germany. Elsewhere these ultra high quality lenses are an expensive upgrade if it's offered at all. At Valdori, they are standard.

I grew up split between Denver and Charleston, and have called New York City home since founding Valdori. Living by the mountains, by the sea, and now in the city, I've always asked a lot of my eyewear but was always a bit bothered by how much I needed to pay to get quality craftsmanship. Cheap eyewear was cheap, quality eyewear was unaffordable.
After extensive research on materials and suppliers, I learned there was a solution. Ultra high quality eyewear didn't have to be $400+. I could use the highest quality materials available on the market and produce a stylish pair of eyewear for an affordable price.
I take pride in crafting the highest quality eyewear, and I hope can feel it. No matter our scale, I personally check and guarantee the construction of every Valdori frame. We use the finest materials available and craftsmanship we can stand behind, because everyone who wears Valdori should be genuinely satisfied, not just sold to.
